Turn Off Filter During Search
Every time I do a search the result is blocked due to the application of the filter. Then there is a cat and mouse game where I have to note the row number, run the search again and manually to the row. Something is wrong here. I must have something out of whack.

The filter affects the view, i.e. which rows you can see. So if you're searching from the filtered sheet and the target of the search would not be visible under that filtered view, you will see that message.
Options:
Turn off the filter before you run your search, or
Run your search from another sheet or your home page in a different browser tab.

Hi David,
Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic week!

I think you may have hit on the solution. I never imagined that I had left the sheet with a filter activated. But after releasing the filters it seems to have solved the problem. Thanks.

I have a sheet filtered with Filter ON then a team member opened the file and removed the filter. When I went to my view the filter OFF button is gone but the sheet is still filtered. Why?
