Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment in Smartsheet, but it's an excellent idea!

I'm curious how long Smartsheet is going to collect Enhancement Requests for Network Diagram functionality before delivering it. In a quick search of the forums, customers have been asking for the enhancement for over 5 years. It really is a fundamental shortcoming of Smartsheet and forces users to other tools. Strangely, in the Critical Path Method description page (https://www.smartsheet.com/critical-path-method), Smartsheet recommends using MS Project to develop the ND, plot the Gnatt and determine the CP before importing back into Smartsheet. If you've already sunk the cost into MS Project where's the value add in Smartsheet? Very strange.
