Send email only when date is changed not when a date is initially input

Hello,

I am trying to setup an automation so an email notification is sent when a date is updated but NOT when the date is initially input.

Example: When I input a date in a blank cell I do not want an email notification sent. I do want an email notification sent only when the date has been updated and then every time that the date is updated.

Is this possible?

You can certainly create a workflow that notifies you when a date has been changed (not added). To accomplish this, you'll want to make sure that the trigger is set to "When rows are changed". Take a look example below and let me know if you have any questions.
