Request form and URL link instead of file upload?

In a sheet you have several options when choosing an attachment

However, when you make an update request, is it true, that you only get the "upload a file from your computer" option? I want to paste a Link from Sharepoint - can I do that in a update request?

If it is not possible, how do I request that someelse add a link from sharepoint to my sheet? We dont want the documents in SmartSheet but keep them in our cloud, where it is easier to work with them.

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment to upload from other services, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment

As a possible workaround, you could have the link added to comments or a specific column/cell.

Would that work?
