Asset Management - Bar Code Image Functionality
Why do I need an image of the Bar Code if I scanned the asset and have the number?

Is that the sheet you're referring to? If so, I actually can't find a column called Bar Code Image. If you mean the attachment column on the left, that column is included in every sheet in case there are relevant attachments you wish to upload. These could potentially be barcodes, if you would like, perhaps to keep that data in one place?
Template sets are pre-configured sheets and reports that you are welcome to download and use as the foundation for your own sheets. The data within them is example data and it's expected that there are elements you will need to delete/remove/adjust.

It sounds like you are using the barcode function on the mobile app, and scanning the number into a cell... but then I am unsure about the rest of your process. Would you mind providing a bit more information? Any relevant screen captures would be useful, too (but please block out sensitive data).

I was questioning the template asset sheet that has a field for the Bar Code Image...why do you need a picture of the barcode?
