ODBC data pulls US date to mail merge
I am pulling information into a Microsoft Publisher label template from Smartsheet using ODBC smartsheet live data connector - this all works fine but any columns that are formatted in smartsheet as date columns are switched from UK format (DD/MM/YY) to US format (YYYY-MM-DD) and the only way I can find to resolve this is to switch the columns in smartsheet to a standard text format. Not ideal and how could I change this please? Why is it switching the format of the dates in a date formatted column. The format in the smartsheet is correct (DD/MM/YY) and the regional settings are all to Greenwich as they should be.
Glad of any advice please.

Hi Peter,
The Live Data Connector will return dates from Date Columns in Smartsheet as UTC format (YYYY-MM-DD). One suggested workaround would be to create an additional helper column in your sheets that was setup as a Text/Number column, and contained a formula that pulled the value from your date column (i.e. "=LEFT(DateColumn@row, 8"). The text dates in the helper column should then be returned with your desired UK format and these could be used to create your label
Hope that helps!
Kind regards,
Nathan L.
