Currently I am having a form to collect the timesheet information from different 3rd party vendor. After receiving the data, I am creating a Timesheet smartsheet.

I have another master smartsheet which is the collection of all the purchase orders and keeping track of present status of the amount consumed.

Is it possible to make the first form interactive. like when the amount consumed is greater than the maximum allowed amount, the vendor will not be able to select that particular PO to submit the form.

If you see the attached figure, PO Number 4900675165 with line number 2 is not allowed to book further since all the amount is already consumed where as we are still able to book under 4900675165 with line number 3.

Interactive forms with conditional logic is currently not available in Smartsheet. If you wanted to keep things strictly in Smartsheet, you could have logic built into "helper" columns on the sheet to send out update requests if something is incorrectly input.

Another option would be to use a 3rd party app such as Google Forms. This will provide your conditional logic, and Google Forms integrates very easily and seamlessly with Smartsheet.

1. A more immersive builder UI to help get the most out of your forms, faster
2. Conditional logic to ensure each respondent is asked the most relevant questions

All of your existing forms will continue to work and be fully editable in the new builder.

I saw that email as well, and I am certainly looking forward to it.

But will it be able to read the sheet and provide logic based on that (remove option to select based on status of another field), or is it limited to only showing certain fields when certain options are selected kind of thing?
