Is there a way to email someone from a report?

Hi all,

I have a published report and my leadership would like there to be a way to 'click on the contact' in the report to be able to send them an email.

I'm pretty sure this can't be done in Smartsheet but I thought I'd consult the "brain trust" here ...

We were thinking of trying to create a hyperlink with an email in cell but that doesn't seem to be working either. I noticed that a PowerBi dashboard had a "mailto:" option but I can't get that to work either.

Any thoughts?

Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment

As a possible workaround, you could use a URL shortening service for each e-mail address.

Would that work/help?
