I set a conditions on the Automation workflows to trigger request an approval form

but it will not trigger the request approval form if I update the contact on the sheet.

Will appreciate any help.

I have 2 level approval in this form.

in the form, User will select a contact in “user verification” and select another contacts in “PMT1 - PMT4” for second level approval depending on the value amount

upon the first level “user verification” approval, the automation will proceed to get 2nd level approval from the contact that is selected within “PMT1 - PMT4”

the conditions on the 2nd level conditions below are base on

1) if cell 1 is not blank and the other 3 cells are blank, then trigger and request an approval from the contacts in cell 1

2) if cell 2 is not blank and the other 3 cells are blank, then trigger and request an approval from the contacts in cell 2

the same condition apply for 3 and 4.

there is no problem on automation and getting approval from level 1 to level 2 for all 4 different scenarios

however, on 1 form submission, I accidentally missed out the 2nd level selection and submit the form. so the will not trigger the 2nd level approval upon level 1 approval.

I went into the sheet and manually select the correct contact list for 2nd level approval. But it do not trigger automatic approval process and send a approval request to 2nd level contact list.
