Track Resources AND calculate date fields

I'm looking for a workaround for this. I understand that with recourses turned on I can't put formulas in the Start and End Date. I have other columns that I'm using with formulas to calculate dates that I need. Is there any way to use Resources and have it reflect calculated dates on a sheet?

I have a Dashboard that is in Expanded Size, but am making a similar Dashboard that I need in Standard Size. Without having to recreate all of the widgets and start from scratch, is there a way to convert an Expanded Dashboard back to Standard Size?
