SUMIFS with 2 Factors
I am trying to create a formula to SUM a COLUMN/RANGE (Column Title: Budget Requested), IF a BOX is checked in another Column (Column Title: Approved).
Keeps returning #UNPARSEABLE

Ah. Ok. Yeah. With the first one... Even if the cell is blank and a zero is factored into the sum, the zero wouldn't change the end value any.

I should say... SUM that COLUMN if it has a $10,000 (dollar amount) in the cell; otherwise, don't SUM
-
For the checkbox:
=SUMIFS([Budget Requested]:[Budget Requested], Approved:Approved, 1)
For the dollar amount of $10,000:
=SUMIFS([Budget Requested]:[Budget Requested], [Budget Requested]:[Budget Requested], 10000)

How can the 2 be combined? if the box is checked and a $$ is in the Budget Requested
-
NEVERMIND... duh, I wasn't paying attention. @Paul Newcome you were exactly right!! thank you
-
Oops. Sorry about that.
=SUMIFS([Budget Requested]:[Budget Requested], [Budget Requested]:[Budget Requested], 10000, Approved:Approved, 1)

you were right with the 1st formula... I was only saying "$10,000" as (if something was in that cell); not necessarily did it have to equal anything.

Ah. Ok. Yeah. With the first one... Even if the cell is blank and a zero is factored into the sum, the zero wouldn't change the end value any.
