How do you set a date and not have it change when sheet is activated again
I am setting date to today when decision is made. But then the next day the date changes when sheet is activated. How do I prevent that. Here is example of my formula.

Hi Kathy,
You'd need to use a third-party service like, Zapier or Automations and a Workflow to copy the rows automatically to another sheet and have the information added/stored.
We'd then use a VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH formula to collect the information back to the sheet.
Make sense? Would that work?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Thanks. That sounds like a lot of work. My back up plan is to have the person type in the date themselves in this case. Thanks for quick response.

Happy to help!
@KathyBurger It actually isn't so much work. Set it and forget basically.
