How to get indent/outdent to be used...not faded on toolbar?
I have an acct through my work. I actually have two accts. One I don't have the ability to make changes to a document unless the author gives me permission...nor do I have the ability to create a new doc. However...I do have the ability to indent and outdent. My other acct I do have an "active" acct...meaning I can create documents and make changes. However, I don't have the ability to use indent/outdent...these icons are faded. I also cannot use the shortcut functions ctrl ] or ctrl [. Has anyone had this issue? Can anyone help?
Thank you.

Ah. Ok. You need to have data in the row above it. Any kind of data will do. If you want the row to appear blank, I generally put a period in a cell somewhere in the "blank" row and then set the font color to match the background color.

Can you show a screenshot? As long as you have data in the row(s), you should be able to indent/outdent with certain basic restrictions such as you can't outdent past the leftmost possible outdentation. You can't indent more than one level per row.

Here is one with data in the row. I have click each cell in the row and in the column and it stays faded.

There have to be something in the cell.
Try to add a couple of rows with 1, 2, 3 , 4 or similar and then see how it works.

I'm having a similar problem. I can only indent/outdent to one level and I do have data in the row above.

@Jeffrey Schmitz The GIF is only a static image. Are you able to provide some before and after screenshots and describe what exactly you are trying to accomplish?

Can you share a screenshot where the Primary column is visible? Do you already have any hierarchies? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!
