Hiding or resizing the "Shared To" box in Home drop down list view

Does anyone know if you can resize the "Shared To Box" to make it smaller or even hide it when looking at the Workspace/folder list when looking at the Home drop down list? The folder names are long and would like to be able to see the full name.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!
