Card View - View Priority/Rank/Order as a field
In card view, you can move cards up/down. Obviously Smartsheet keeps the order of the cards saved somewhere behind the scenes because when you leave and come back to the screen, the cards are in the same order that you left them. Is there a way to display this information in the Grid View or see this order in any other way?
Use Case: Our card order is the "priority" of what items should should be done next. However, sometimes there are situations where we need to see the tasks in grid view (or a report). It would be great if we could somehow also see this card priority/order in those other views as well.

Have you looked into Sorting?

The card order is not related to the Sort order on the grid. Moving a card up/down on the Card View does not change the sort in the Grid.

I meant sorting the sheet based on the Priority.

I think Ramsay Zaki is looking for the same thing I am. Is there any way to access the Card Ranking that is saved in the background relative to each Card View and have that Card Ranking appear in a cell in the grid?
For example, let's say I have a dropdown column in the grid to differentiate 18 rows by priority with dropdown values of "High", "Medium", and "Low". If I then switch to card view and view them by that priority column, I see I have 6 cards in each swimlane. Now I take those cards within each swimlane and reorganize them by dragging and dropping them into a prioritized list within those higher priorities.
How can I see this resulting sub-prioritization or Card Rank when I switch back to the grid view? This would allow me to then sort the grid view to match the priority setting I just achieved in the card view.
In the abstract, Smartsheet maintains the Card Rank for each different card view. I'd like to be able to use Card View for multiple dropdown categories, and then extract the rankings from working with each of those views to feed into an overall formula that calculates a "master priority" - which I can then use as a sorting mechanism for a grid view or a filter threshold for reporting.

I, like the dozen or so people in this community thread (https://community.smartsheet.com/discussion/70321/how-to-keep-the-sort-order-of-grid-view-in-card-view) need more control/access to card sort order.
In my case specifically I want the grid order to match the card order, or at least be able to sort/group the grid by card order. Otherwise I can't use order/position as something meaningful in both grid and card views.
IMHO this is a pretty big miss, it seems like rather basic functionality for someone trying to do serious work with your product. There's quite a lot of customer requests for this and related functionality like sorting in card view.
I'm still evaluating options but this may be a blocker for using Smartsheet for my project.

Has anybody submitted this or looked to see if it was already submitted and voted up on it in the Product Ideas section to let Smartsheet know that it is a desired feature? Or potentially tried in in a report?

Anything more on this request?
I want to do exactly the same thing, view the visual position of my Cards in a report.e.g. I've re-ordered my tasks in Card view, and now want to report on that order.
