Looking to use Appsheet or Evernote

I am searching for the right app to help with the communication between the office and field. We currently use another app called Builder Trend. It's a way for our designers and staff to see the progress of the field installation by pictures and "to do" lists.

Problems with with the app: 1.) we started using it before running our business with smartsheet so it has no attachement to smartsheet data. 2) There is no way to actually check off the items that are complete. 3.) our installers do not like using the buildertrend app. See attached photo

We still would like to see a daily log similar to the picture. I keep going back and forth with appsheet and evernote. I would like to display something similar in a dashboard in smartsheet but trying to learn both smartsheet and evernote is getting time consuming:) Anyone use either apps? thoughts?
