Limit View to a user for one filter Only

Hi,

I used a sheet to create a global timesheet for one department. Then I created one filter by employee so they can see only the row who applied to them. Is there a way to limit view by user? By example, I want that Marc see only the view with filter ''Marc'' and cannot remove this filter so he cannot see other people time.

Because they need to be able to edit, there are two options.

1. Report, but then they would need to be shared with the sheet, and they could potentially see the other Employee's Hours.
2. The Premium Add-On, Dynamic View.

Edit only cells as it's a timesheet. He have to choose project number in one cell and add hours in the other one. See picture below

And if the person doesn't need to edit, is it possible to limit view to only one or few filter in a sheet?

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment to limit the view, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment

As a possible workaround, you could Share specific filters, but they can still show everything in the sheet.

Another option could be to create multiple reports instead.

Would any of those options work/help?
