Dashboard Notifications

Hi,

I set - up a dashboard recently for a client and would now like to automate updates to be sent to the client via email when changes are made to the dashboard. i.e. when a new link is added. Is this possible yet? I understand you can do this on sheets already.

Notifications are not something that has been built into a dashboard. Feel free to Submit a Product Enhancement Request when you are able.

There is the option to email all shared users, but it's not automated or obvious. Go to share, and click the email symbol to the right of the dashboard link field. From there you can customize your message. I like to send occasional emails that something significant changed, as opposed to the daily/weekly cadence that users begin to ignore if they're too steady and regular. However, I did submit a  Submit a Product Enhancement Request to configure notifications based on key fields in a report or metric widget (e.g. fire off a message if a budget or timeline slips)

You could use a specific sheet structured to make it simpler and almost automatic to send new update information and similar by using workflows

@Andrée Starå I would love to learn more about have the "almost" auto update with new information via a workflow. Can't seem to find on another thread??
