Hi Chanaka,

It’s by design. Smartsheet recently made changes to how it works. As a possible workaround, you can change your name or the automation owners to something else.

If you want it reverted back or maybe as an option instead.

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment

Since, I have created many sheets & handover to plant. Now, everyone is getting mails with my heading name in each every notifications & reminders.

Why can't we, per automation or sheet, say WHO we want the notifications to come from??? I really don't find this new feature helpful at all... it is causing a lot of confusion and looks messy if someone is the owner of the sheet and has nothing to do with the sheet other than a support role for those that are using it. Even changing the owner won't do much because it still is misleading. Why can't the FROM be customized or at least take on the sheet name (like.. "MVE Tracking Notification via Smartsheet").

Please allow us to specify a name in the notification. I create the majority of our Smartsheets here and my name is on everything. This seems like such a simple and obvious fix. We have an invoice approval that comes from my name. It would be far less confusing if I could have it come from 'Accounting via Smartsheet' rather than my name via Smartsheet.

Please, PLEASE make it possible to customize the sender name.

I'm a process developer at the company I work at, my name is on everything, which means that all questions regarding the content in the Smartsheet bases get sent to me.

I have to spend a lot of time explaining that I am the system developer but I cannot help out with questions regarding invoicing, legal, transportation, etc.

A custom name would give a more professional and clean look to the notification emails.
