Export contacts from sheets into "my own Contacts" and into .csv file

Hi,

I want to export contacts I collected in Smartsheet into f.e. Mailchimp.

Mailchimp needs a .csv file. On the same way I could Import the data into "my own Smartsheet contacts"

Unfortunately I can only export from a SS sheet into .xls or .pdf

How can I handle this? Any idea?

As you have found, Smartsheet is able to export into the following file types: Microsoft Excel / PDF/ Image (Gantt Chart Only) / Google Sheets / Microsoft Project (Gantt Chart Only). You can read more about this in our Help Center (see here).

However if you first export the sheet into an .xls file, then you can open up the .xls file and save this as a .csv on your desktop, which should work for your purposes.
