Gantt Timeline Display - Days & Hours

Is there any chance that the Gantt display could be extended to allow Days as Primary Heading and Hours as Secondary Heading? The underlying math in task dependencies is already there, so looks like it mainly requires an additional heading display (currently Year, Quarter, Month, Week).

The benefit would be ability to use Smartsheet for recurring multi-step short projects e.g. IT system migrations.

This is a real deal breaker for even trying to move away from MSP - without having an hour display option on Gnatt view means it cannot be used for detailed project planning and tracking.

Researching this feature, or lack of as the case may be, then this request for this feature seems to tracks back till at least 2015 - i would have thought Smartsheet would have got the message by now that this is a deal breaker... until fixed, we cannot and will not implement Smartsheet as being any sort of workable replacement to MSP for project work. Will will just have to keep it to a simple smartsheet ... a real shame, as it has so many other great features.

I strongly agree that a Gantt chart minute and hour instead of only day and week function should be added to Smartsheet. This feature can also assist in scheduling site visits of consultants and managers who need to accomplish a lot of tasks with different departments on a minute or hourly basis during a site visit that may only last days.

Has this issue been resolved? I'd love to use SmartSheet, but need the hours functionality.

I also strongly agree that at least hour/half an hour should be added on Smartsheet gantt chart. Now I have to switch to Apple Calendar to plan the works per hour. Last week I've extended my subscription to Smartsheet and I almost regret now. That's a shame cause I really love to work with Smartsheet. So please help me out Smartsheet and please increase the zoom options!!
