Name comes when auto mail trigger to end user

Hi team,

I have developed smartsheet project and create workflow for auto alerts mails. when mail trigger automatically in every mail my name will be appear because i have developed this project.

this project is developed for some other Team so how to remove my name in top off the mail.

It’s by design. Smartsheet recently made changes to how it works.

If you want it reverted back or maybe as an option instead.

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment

Workarounds:

If you will be the owner of the majority of the sheets with alerts, you could potentially adjust your name in Smartsheet to appear as something more generic, as this will then update what's shown in the alerts.

I think our only short term option is to use our "spare" licence, set that up with a default do not reply email address and move ownership to that licence.

but let me clear please that if i have developed and share project to other teams then how to change setting or personal details for one or more projects...

If you're the owner, it will show your information, but if someone else is the owner, it will show their information.

You'' have to change your information or the other owner needs to change theirs.

but I have developed project and end user does't know the functionality and other logic's which applied in sheet.. not possible to share owner access. in such case what will do..

I am owner of all sheets... i have share project and share only editor or admin access to end users..

Then you only need to change your information.
