Automated resource based update requests

I would like to send the resources (and only the assigned resource) an update request each week for their tasks in all the schedules I have in Smartsheet. It's ok if they get one request per schedule.

I understand I can schedule the update requests out in time and have them repeat, but it seems like I'd have to make an update request for each row, or at least select all the rows for the given resource and create an update request for each person. This is extremely time consuming to go through a schedule with thousands of tasks to select the ones just for the given resources (not to mention there are a dozen or so resources).

Is there an "overall repeating update request for assigned resources" option I'm missing somewhere?

You cannot do Update requests this way, however yu can do Reminders to prompt people that have been shared to the sheet to update thier elements.  The Contact field is a required field in the sheet and the resources must be shared to the sheet for it to work.
