Is there a way to disable the "5 others are viewing this sheet" notification?

There are about 30 other people in my organization that the same Smartsheet as myself and these notifications get in the way all the time because they'll all pop up at the same time and cover the entire sheet, and it takes a long time to close each one and they take a long time to go away on their own. I haven't been able to find a way to disable this, it's very annoying and also irrelevant since I don't need to know how many others, or who else, is viewing the sheet.

I use the Chrome app, but I also use it on Chrome and Firefox but it still happens no matter what medium I use it on. The attached pic is an example of this occurrence

I sent a support ticket, but if anyone finds a fix to this please let me know, it's very annoying.
