deleted rows
Hi ,
I deleted nearly all of one of my projects rows in error. There was no way to undo or put the data back. How do i fix this? I have exported the activity log into a CSV but I don't seem to be bale to re-import. Any ideas - HELP?

Sorry to hear that, but I did the exact same thing last week. I researched that there is no way to get the data back unless you submit a request to Smartsheet support and see if they could assist in recovering the data.
I too, exported the activity log and from there, manually re-entered my data. Be sure to back up your sheet once you get the data back (https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/506499-back-up-your-data).

I’d recommend setting up the (if you have access) automatic backup feature.

I have this same problem -- there needs to be a way to lock out shared users from deleting a row. Backups can help, but don't solve the issue. If It's added and deleted between backups, then there's no solution. My issue is when the row is deleted, it adds an auto number to my sheet.. once it's deleted, that number can't be used any more, so down the road on my sheet, it shows it skips a number, which for records purposes can leave you wondering what got deleted.

By all means submit an Enhancement Request as @Andrée Starå suggested- but as this fix does not generate revenue expect Smartsheet to continue to ignore it. 6 years and counting.
