MS Teams
Hello,
We use Teams across our organisation but rather than granting access to our entire organisation can Smartsheet just have access to a specific "team" in order to set-up workflows? At present it needs admin access but we don't want this to we company-wide.

Hi James,
In reviewing some Microsoft documentation on managing apps and app permissions, it appears that a Microsoft Admin should be able to control what apps are available to specific users in your organization. Take a look at the following articles for more information on this:
For more details, I highly recommend reaching out to your O365 Admin or Microsoft Support.
As far as what's accessible when using the Smartsheet for Teams integration, there is an option to setup a Private Channel in Team. Once you've created a Private Channel and you've granted access to only those who need it, you'll have the option to enable alerts & actions for that particular team. If you're looking to publish a Smartsheet item as a tab in a Teams channel, the published content will only be available to those who have access to the channel. See the following Help articles for more information on the integration:
- Integrate Smartsheet With Microsoft Teams
- Receive Alerts and Requests in Microsoft Teams
- Publish Smartsheet Items to Microsoft Teams
I hope this helps!
Thanks,
Ben
