Best practises for alerting contacts not shared to one sheet
Hi all ,
AS a project manager , I want to share information to stakeholders which are not necessarily predefined in my contact list or not set as preferred contact in the contact list column .
I have set the restrictions level to "unrestricted" so that I can add any contact to the distribution list for a certain type of information to share , but when I type emails separated by semicolons , the automation does not work ( people in the contact list column are supposed to be alerted when I add new information ) .
Can you share to me a good practise which works ?
Regards .

Hi Alain,
Not sure I follow!
Where are you adding the contacts separated by semicolons?
Can you maybe share some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Hi @Andrée Starå ,
I try to use a web form as you can see on the screenshot . And I thought that by typing emails separated by semicolons from the webform , contacts would receive a notification but it does not work .
However , when I predefine the emails in the contact list , it works . So I think that's the solution : every time I need to insert a new person in the distribution list , i will set his email in the contact list column .
Right ?
Regards .

You can have one or multiple contact columns, but only one contact in each in the form.
As a possible workaround you could use multiple so-called helper columns and parse out the different contacts.
Make sense?
