Report date a document was modified

I am trying to report via a summary sheet the date that the a sheet was updated. I am wanting to report when any row on the sheet was updated not just a specific line.

I'm hoping that its something really simple that I've missed.

To get the most recent update to a sheet, add the Modified (Date) auto column to the Sheet in question

In your sheet summary field use formula =DATEONLY(MAX(Modified:Modified))

This will look at the whole column and pull the most recent date out and report it in the Sheet Summary
