Send a workflow alert to a specific person based off a form drop down question

Hi,

I have a form where the user can select between a few people as the person they who is in charge of their project. I then made a workflow that says

Trigger: When rows are added or changed

When: "the form question" changes to

Any Value

Run workflow when triggered

I then made several conditions side by side, 1 for each person saying

Where "the form question" is not one of "The person I want to get emailed" goes down to an alert that sends an email to that person.

I have had this workflow work before but now it's not working. I've checked my personal preferences and the workflow preferences to make sure they are unrestricted.

Is there something wrong with my formula? Or is it something weird with SmartSheet?

Hi Andree,

Thanks for the response, I did end up figuring it out. When I changed the drop down in the form from "Contacts" to "Drop down list" with just the list of names it fixed the issue. Perhaps something went wrong with my contact list.
