New Row Formatting

Whenever I insert a new row into my sheet, it is automatically colored blue and I have to manually change it to "automatic" to clear the formatting.

The main problem is that Smartsheet always adds ten blue rows to the bottom of my sheet. I can delete those rows or manually change them to clear background, but once I reopen the Smartsheet it adds ten new blue rows again at the bottom.

How do I change my properties so that new rows won't be formatted with the blue background?

Hi James,

Start with unhiding any columns that are hidden and check if there are any conditional formatting rules and set them inactive.

Then select all the rows/cells in the sheet and clear the formatting and see if that works.
