Has anyone tried to do a timeline chart using Smartsheet.

I am relatively new to Smartsheet and would like to present a visual timeline (not a Gantt) on Dashboard. I am unable to find any information on that, but would like to check if any of you have tried this option.

@Deepa SP Do you have an example of what you are looking for?

I would be interested if Smartsheet would develop a prettier Gantt Chart Portal; similar to what ProductPages provides. That way; it's one less tool we have to update for providing contextualized views of what's coming.

The data above for example, I can see this easily being captured. It's just a better visualization layer needed than just the out-of-the-box Gantt Chart view.

Thank you. this does look visually appealing. What I have are a set of contract dates which I would like to show as a timeline. But I currently can't seem to flex the chart options much in Smartsheet.

Something similar to this below. I came across in You tube on how to do a timeline using Excel. MS projects has this feature.
