view by work week in card option
Hi,
i have a sheet with my compeny task that update every day by project managers.
each task get the data from the PMs ever the at 08:00 morning.
i want to see all in Card view when the section is WW (work week)
the problem is if i put all number between 1-52 then in Card view i saw all WW numbers even if it is passed.
how can i view the tasks of that week each week ?
any idea?

You could have a "Current Week" column that is a check box using the formula
=IF(WW@row = Weeknumber(Today()),1,0)
then use a filter to show only rows with "Current Week" Checked

You’d add the formula from Ross in a so-called helper column (checkbox) called Current Week and then you’d create a filter called Current Week (Current Week is checked). When you select the filter in the Card View you’ll only see the cards for the current week.

Ok its a good solution
but now the card view displyed all WW, some of them empty and some are not
so how can i display only the current WW with days

You'd add another criterion to the filter to not include empty days or only the days that have a date.

another issue now...
i try in same sheet to make filted "plan look ahead' its mean that i want to filter all task that will be next week.
the problem is samrtsheet start the week in Monday and in my place we work Sunday to Thursday
so how can i solve it ?
note: the view card displyed task for each day.

You would need to define the days that should count. I think I have a formula in the archive. I'll get back to you!
