How can I stop multi cell selection and only select the cell I am clicking on?
Trying to click on one cell to make a quick change. An annoying blue box has appeared that selects the entire area between the cell I need and another random cell. How can I turn it off?

I had this issue a little over a year ago. I can't remember exactly what the cause/solution was. Try logging out, clearing your cookies and cache, then logging back in again.

@Andrée Starå If I understood correctly then basically what is happening is that you click on a single cell and it selects multiple cells.
Example:
Click on A1
A1:C4 are highlighted as if you selected those

I have had it happen once in SS and a couple of times in Excel. I can't remember for sure what the solution was for SS, but in Excel I just had to close out the workbook and reopen it.

Not sure I follow!
Can you maybe share some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Here's a screenshot: Click cell on row 125 (green highlight). Separate click to select a different cell on row 127 (yellow highlight). The blue frame selects all cells between the two clicks as if the shift key has been held down. Same issue when using keyboard arrows. I eventually stopped it after several reboots and clearing cache but can't figure out what I might be clicking on to make it start doing that in the first place. Thanks for your help.
