Is it possible to export a sheet as forms?
We often need to publish a report pulling data from a selection of columns, for a single row, sequentially on a page, and then the next row, etc (I.e. laid out like a document, not a spreadsheet). We currently use the Smartsheet add-on in google docs to do this, but it is frustrating and time consuming. Essentially what we are producing is the same as a 'Form' but data is coming from the sheet, rather than going in. Is there a way to export Forms in this way?
Any guidance or suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Tim.

There currently isn't a way to have a row switch to appear down a column like this in an editable format (please Submit an Enhancement request when you have a minute!)
If you're looking to have the data displayed vertically but you don't need it to be editable, you could use the drop-down arrow on the left of the row to select "Print Row" either from a Sheet or Report (see here). This would create a PDF file with the data displayed similar to how it looks in a form, vertically. You could even save this PDF into your Drive, and then convert it into a Google Doc if you need it to be editable... but that sounds very similar to what you're already doing.

To add to Genevieve’s excellent answer.
We could use the URL-query feature to replicate the form but from the sheet.
When you click in the URL created with the help from the URL-query, it will open the Form layout with fields already filled in.
Make sense?
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!
