Get a distinct set of values from an existing column without changing order.
Hello,
I am trying to get list of values that has each value only once. Below I have my JOB NUMBER column and I am trying to create an automatically updating column that we will call DISTINCT NUMBER that lists each number once. The catch is that the JOB NUMBER column is always changing and I want the DISTINCT NUMBER column to keep its order and add all new values to the end of the list. This is because I am using the DISTINCT NUMBER column for my team to place their emails after. If the DISTINCT NUMBER column changes order, then the link between the email and number will change.
Let me know if you have any ideas.

You could use the Auto Row (Number) column. This populates every new row with a distinct and customizable ID automatically. See https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/1108408-auto-numbering-rows#:~:text=the%20number%20in.-,Create%20an%20Auto%2DNumber%20Column,Format%20section%20of%20the%20form.
If this is a situation where you have duplicate values and want a list of only the duplicate entries, you can use COUNTIF to find duplicates and generate a report that filters these out.
