Permissions !!

I am currently using (KANBAN Sheet) to distribute tasks to my team.

the problem is anyone from my team who has permission to (Edit cannot share) can drag and drop any tasks that are not assigned to them. thats make the board not under control by the admin, is there any solution that make the Admin apply restrictions to the other users.

Seems like locking the column in Grid View will prevent editors from moving the cards to another column/group in cards view (and the View by is set to that type)... But then, they can still re-order them within the same group in card view.

Guess the only choice is to lock down every column that is a drop-down type.

First of all, Thank you for your participation.

I tried to lock the culumn but the assigned person coul drag and drop it when he finished his task.

Also whenever i assigned a task to anyone from my team they did nit get any notification from Smartsheet.

It seems like you want a pretty restricted sheet. In this case, it's probably best to make to make all sharers/collaborators as Viewers only. Otherwise, you'll need to lock every single column that uses a drop-down menu (the Card view in Smartsheet utilizes the drop-down columns as their "view by" control)

For notifications. You'll need to set Alerts at the bottom of the Sheet and set it so that all collabarators/sharers will receive an email notice whenever any of the columns have any changes:
