Problem with 'workday' formula

I can't seem to get the following formula to work in my smartsheet - it is referencing a column with dates in it:
=Workday([Due Date]76,5)
What am I doing wrong? When I type it in, it just treats the syntax as text.
Thanks!

Hi Laura,
At first I would check if your formula is in a Date type column.

Hi @Laura19
In which column are you trying to add the formula?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Yes, I'm trying to use the formula in a Date type column. How does that impact the formula?

Update: I think I figured out the problem. I hadn't used this smartsheet in awhile. The 'start' column in which I was trying to put the formula had dependency settings that referenced a 'predecessor' column (which I had not updated) which is supposed to list the previous row and a 'duration' column which calculates the number of days between the previous row's start and due date.
Thank you for the previous answers!
