Linked cells not bringing formatting forward

I’m linking cells and the conditional formatting of them isn’t coming forward. I want to show a matrix on a dashboard so need to put them into a format for a report to grab and show.

So – I have cells like the below:

And moving them to this format:

I need that conditional formatting to pull forward with the linking as I can’t put the conditional formatting in the final state .

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment to include the formatting, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment

Would it work to use a report instead? Reports include the formatting.
