Filter/Limit Drop Down Values
Is there any way to limit the values that appear in a Drop Down based upon the current value selected? For example, we want our Statuses to follow a specific progression (e.g. New --> In Progress --> Deploy --> Closed). If the currently selected Status is "In Progress" they should only see '"Deploy" in the drop down (not New or Closed).
Is there any way to do this (within the sheet itself, Dynamic View or anywhere else)?
Sorry if this has been asked before... did a search but didn't find a question exactly like this.

So it is possible? I've looked at that company before and I know they have solutions for automatically updating the values in the list. But, I'm specifically looking to restrict values on a row-by-row basis depending on what value is selected in a particular row.

They have conditional dropdown lists based on another cells value.
