Impact of deleting/removing a user

What is the impact of deleting a user if they were previously an owner of sheet and groups? (Note; I have already transferred all of their items to someone else, but they were the original author of these sheets and had input (row entries and comments alike) . I don't want to lose knowing what they did in the past in case we need to go back and look at history and such.

I do not want to keep a potential open login either by leaving the free license account "Active".

I can't confirm, but I think that would be something simple for your Smartsheet rep to get answered through email.

The closest I can come would be the bottom of this Activity Log KB article that discusses the Activity Log's behavior after transferring ownership (it's the * note at the bottom).

I believe the Activity reports will remain unchanged, as when you remove a user you're just removing them from your account. They could technically still use that credential as an unlicensed collaborator. As for transferring ownership or sharing, those are all options you have in the form of checkboxes as you remove that user, but it sounds like you've already addressed most of that.

Yes, I have already done the ownership transfer.
