SUMIFS Formula help
Hello everyone
I have some troubles when I want to make a SUMIFS formula (using Smartsheet in French). I want my formula to return the value of the % that answer the two criterias, the year = 2020 and the month = 09 so the result should be 64%. I don't have an error but only 0% as a result.
Does someone know how to calculate this ?
Maybe I am not using the good formula in order to get a value based on criterias ?
Thank you very much for you help

Ok. And what about your year and month columns? How are those populated?

Are you trying to get a sum or an average?
Either way... How are your percentages entered? Are they entered as numbers into a text/number column that is formatted as percentages, or are you manually keying the "%", or is it generated by a formula?

Hello Paul,
Thank you for your answer. I only want to get the sum of all values that answer my year and month criteria, so If I am right, in my case there should be only one value that answer year 2020 and month 09.
The column is a text/number column formatted as percentages.

Hello Paul,
Year and month columns are text/number type.
Do you think there could be a problem with column formatting ? For example Smartsheet is forcing the month with '01

Thank you Paul it was effectively the formatting !
But what I can't understand is that i use the same formatted column of month ('09) for other SUMIFS formulas and it works well..
Have a nice day,

It could possibly be something with that particular sheet. Every now and then I come across a sheet that can be a little "buggy" at times. Glad it is working for you now. 👍️
