Default values with input form

I have a form that has a drop down box using the Red, Yellow, Green balls that should default to RED with every submission. It was previously working and now, the status column is blank. Am I missing something in the set up of the default value?

Strange!

There was a recent update to the forms, so maybe it has something to do with that.

I'd be happy to take a quick look.

Can you maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s)? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)

Thank you Andree for resolving my issue. There appears to be a bug. I unchecked the "Restrict to symbols only" box and the default now populates on the sheet. Enhancement request submitted to Smartsheet.
