Hello everyone

I would like to know if someone has some examples of how they use Smartsheet as a timesheet ?

Let me explain to you the use case : I have for examples 3 projects in three different sheets. For each ressource of my team, I want to know threre planned allocation % on each project per month calculated on they attribution to tasks in the projects, compare to their actuel allocation % that they will fill manually.

Do you know how I could built a template that answer this need ?

I think you're going to need to look into Resource Views, but I think the more natural fit would be Smartsheet's 10,000ft. It's their platform for resource management and if you're looking at getting more from this that just a few projects then it is probably the way to go.

Hello David,

Thank you for your answer, I would love to use ressource views but the problem is that I have ressources that are not in my Smartsheet account so there are not represented in the ressources views.

I don't think I will have the budget for 10000ft, but it seems to be a very good solution.

Is there a way you could add your resources as Free, unlicensed users? It would at least get them into your instance to be able to view (or should).

Yes thank you for the tip,

But even if with the ressources view I am still missing some features to follow for exemple planned hours vs actual hours for each month for each ressource.
