Know what is paste or not when saving a copy in Smartsheet

Hello everyone,

Do you know what element are paste when you make a copy of a set of Smartsheet elements (sheets, reports, dashboard) ?

For example I have a file A that contains :

8 sheets A

8 reports A

1 metric sheet A

8 dashboard A with : links to sheet and report A, form URL, metrics from metric sheet A

When I want to copy file A into a new file B, do you know if all the links I made in file A are kept in file B, and if not what elements are linked and what elements are not ?

For example when I did a copy, form URL from dashboards B pointed on sheets A so it resulted in big issues.

it depends on how you copy and paste. If you put all of it in a folder and copy paste the folder, it will give you the option to maintain links. If you do it individually you won't have said option.

Direct links on a dashboard can be gimmicky with this option, you may need to check them to make sure they work prior to implementation.
