Hyperlinks break when in a sheet embedded in a Dashboard -- SERIOUSLY?!

I have a project management sheet where many of the cells are hyperlinked to another "breakout" sheet where more granular tasks are completed.

Those hyperlinked cells display their text as blue and underlined, as a link should. When I then embed that sheet into a dashboard, ALL of the hyperlinks in the sheet are rendered useless. They are no longer blue and while they do show that that there's a link when you hover over the cell, you cannot click that link.

How can this be the case. How can a hyperlink simply stop being a hyperlink because the sheet is embedded in a Dashboard.

This has destroyed an otherwise great project management dashboard.
