System created date changes to manual date input after comment is added to row

Hi All

I have a sheet in which there is a column set to add the system driven date when a new row is added. I am getting an issue when a comment is added that chnges the column properties to just Date only, therefore staying blank when subsequent rows are added.

Initially it was happening due to conditional formatting to the rows but this column is no longer affected by any formatting. Looking at the activity log it seems to happen when a comment is later added to an existing row.

I have checked user permissions and the users do not have rights to change this, also the column is locked!

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Strange!

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)
