Brain boosts

All the Engage sessions referenced 'Brain Boosts' but I'm not finding them in the Help center or even a Google search. What are those?

If you have a look at the PDF that can be accessed in each of the sessions. In some of them, there is a section called, Additional resources, and there you’ll find the link to the Brain Boost.

Brain Boosts are interactive eLearning courses from our Center of Excellence that are accessible for all of our Engage registrants until October 31st! It requires access to your Smartsheet account for verification (to make sure you have a Smartsheet account and were registered for Engage), just like how you verify your account to log in to this Community.

There are a range of topics that you can choose from to experience more hands-on training, such as formulas, dashboards, and automations... or some of our newer features like document builder. If you're looking for training on certain subjects, I would highly recommend going through some of these courses, especially as they are only available until the end of the month.

Thank you -- I did find the links in the slides PDFs, but then it wanted extra permissions to my account so I cancelled as it 1) wasn't clear what a Brain Boost actually is / whether it will be useful to me and 2) wasn't clear what those extra permissions were for & what changes might happen in my sheets.

Robert Trump

When I initially left a comment I appear to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now whenever a comment is added I get 4 emails with the same comment. Is there an easy method you are able to remove me from that service? Cheers!

If you're referring to notifications from the online Community, you can adjust your notification preferences by clicking on your Account > Edit Profile > Notification Preferences.

Yes, the Brain Boosts that were available as part of Engage 2020 last October are not longer accessible; the free access expired on October 31st, 2020.

However your company may have a package that includes access to our Center of Excellence, which has many online training courses (see: Find On-Demand Training in the Center of Excellence).
