Column formulas and Global Updates

Hi All!

I've tried adding a new column from a template (with a column formula), but am getting an error.

If I remove the column formula in the blueprint it works as expected. Am I doing something wrong, or has this not been updated in SCC yet?

Hey Chris! Global Updates doesn't currently support column formulas, so you can't push out an update to existing projects to include column formulas. If you build column formulas into your blueprint, all projects moving forward will be provisioned with that column formula.

Hi Brian,

I have a gazillion columns I would like to update with column formulas. Are global updates with column formulas coming in the near future? If so, that would be awesome and I'll wait for the update. If not... I might as well just get started.

Definitely see how that may be now not worth the effort. We solved that issue with the aid of the usage of Data Uploader link. The procedure is a chunk convoluted however it labored for us. Goes like this:
