I have this same question. I would like to include the parent rows in an "assignee" report even if the parent rows are not assigned to the assignee. Example:

Reports evaluate rows on an individual basis, regardless of hierarchy. This means that if your report criteria is not in the Parent row, that row won't appear in the report.

You could potentially adjust your Assigned To column to include multiple contacts, then make sure every Parent includes all of the users assigned in the Child Rows in its cell. That way it would meet your Report criteria.

@Andrée Starå , this is an older string, but I would love an update to this follow-up question. I used the helper column formula: =IF(COUNTIF(CHILDREN(Owner@row), "Worker Name") > 0, "Worker Name")

But this only pulls up if the Worker is the ONLY person in the cell. Is there a formula if the Worker is in the cell w/ other names? Is there like a CONTAINS function w/ this same formula?
