Auto population of words like in Excel

In Excel you can type a word, then go to the cell below and start to type the word again and it will automatically populate that cell with the same word above.

Unive - then it will fill in the rest of the word University

I can't seem to make that work in Smartsheet?

You'll have to add the values to a dropdown list and then it will work.

Yes that worked for everything but the Primary Column. How can I change the primary column? Thank you!!

Happy to help!

It's not possible to change the Primary Column, and it can only be Numbers/Text.

You could use a formula to show the value from a dropdown list column in the Primary column.

Not up to speed on many formulas yet, but I can live with not having it on this column. I'm also trying to do a Dashboard. I want to use a report that I am the Owner of. When I try to add the report widget, it doesn't show up in my options because I'm the Owner not the Admin?

With the Report issue you are facing on your Dashboard, you may wish to fully log out of Smartsheet (Profile Icon>Sign Out), log back in and re-attempt to add the Report. If you work on multiple tabs, or have not saved, the Dashboard may have not picked up the Report.
